I saw you roll your eyes when you mentioned the kid that 'needs to take Ritalin for whatever reason'....
It's just sad and pathetic and makes me wonder... "WHERE ARE THE PARENTS??!!! Where were the parents during the infuential yrs of elemnetary school?"
I don't even like to see 12 yrs old drinking iced coffe... they don't the caffeine
I noticed alot of kids in my church drink coffee...young kids. I don't let my son (almost 13) drink mello yellow, or any other high caffiene drink... as low key as he normally is... it makes him loopy. The kids in this story were in highschool, but that does not excuse the drug abuse.
I guess I rolled my eyes because I know there are ways to control ADD and hyperactivity. I have "ADD" lets just call it creative. I control it with diet.
