If it were not compulsory, you'd be absolutely right; just pull your kid and it's all over.<br /><br />But not only would you have to say "no, thank you" to the school, you'd have to deal with whatever rules the state saw fit to impose on your home.<br /><br />Well. I educate my children nicely, but I don't know that they could pass the tests that are required in some states even with the coaching. And it isn't really freedom if you have to coach a kid to do a fill-in-the-bubble test anyway. You know?<br /><br />So. School rules for safety, reasonable order and certainly rules to prevent a 15-y-o from exposing her boobies.
