Piano in the morning

My favorite part of homeschooling

I finally have the kids trained to play piano first thing in the morning as a reflex. It does a mothers heart good to hear songs like Ode to joy, and other hymns first thing in the morning. I really gets me going... Its good for them too... They say playing an instrument makes the mind more creative, and makes math and science come more naturally.

I couldn't be more happy about my musical morning.

That's great that you've taught them the piano and that they get to do it first thing in the morning. I know a lot of people don't like a lot of noise in the morning. :)

Hi! I'm Danielle, also a homeschooling mother (of 4) and I thank you for a great idea. Mine haven't learned to play the piano yet but anything which encourages mom's attitude is priceless:-)
