It is not as bad as it sounds. It has bookshelves, a table and a sink. We mostly use it for arts, crafts, and messy science experiments.
Now if If someone else were footing the bill, my basement would be a homeschoolers dream. I would have an industrial loft theme comfy futon couches, and stainless steel tables. It would be very high tech with walls ize computer monitors, and the exercise room would have an arcade version of dance, dance revolution. Upstairs my two story dining room would be a library with mahogony paneling, shelves to the ceiling and one of those cool library ladders.
Oh, and the kitchen... it would be self cleaning.
Talk about home improvement!
