Is the answer to financial problems putting them back in school

I complained to a well meaning person about financial issues. Thier answer was put the kids in public school and get a full time job.

Personally, I would rather be destitute than to hinder my kids educational progress... not to mention spiritual and emotional. Money is just not worth it.
