Personally, I believe that the latter is the way things should be. In order to earn a living, children should be prepared through learning. Instead schools are paying kids to learn.
Am I the only one that is bothered by this?

That is INSANE! Kids *will* fake not knowing the material just to get paid $8/hr. That's a lot of money for a kid!
