The purpose of AP programs were to allow advanced high school students the opportunity to complete college level courses while in high school. Homeschoolers have several options for claiming AP credit.

Homeschoolers may not realize that they also have access to AP and Honors Courses. They would be surprised that they have many of the same options as everyone else.
