Sex ed becoming Mandatory in NY classrooms

First things first.

  With kids becoming less and less literate, why waste time on subjects parents should be teaching at home? Shouldn't they focus on reading and writing. Considering they are not teaching reading and writing well, how well are they going to teach sex ed. FREE HOME EDUCATION WEBSITE

Well, and if you know about New York State, they're going to make it somewhere between difficult and impossible to opt out of or substitute classes. The government there really has no respect for parents. I'm not saying that to make fun of New Yorkers... simply stating a very sad fact.

Being from NY, I'd have to a agree. It's kind of a "my way or the highway" state. I took the highway... but I still love it.
