Win a free Poster Print
Notes from a Homeschooling Mom is hosting a 18x24” Rolled Poster Print giveaway from DigitalRoom.com. The winner will be able to create your own photo enlargement or custom poster for free!
In full disclosure, I will tell you that the sponsor is giving me a free poster print for hosting this contest. I am trying to decide if I am going use my poster printing gift to blow up a picture of my family in front of the holly wood sign from this summer or if I am going have a piece of my own art recreated through digital printing to give as a gift. (I like to keep the originals.)
This offer is open to US residents only with FREE UPS Ground Shipping for US residents.
To enter do one of the following:
1. Please leave a comment explaining how you would use the Poster Print if you won.
2. You may also blog about the giveaway and link to my blog as well as DigitalRoom.com (be sure you leave a comment to let me know you did it. )
3. Tweet your Giveaway @uprinting with trending topic ‘#giveaway’ and ask your readers to do the same, (leave a comment to let me know you did it. )
This contest will end 12 midnight EST on September 28, 2009. I will make the announcement by noon on Sept 29. The winner will receive a coupon code for a free 18X24 poster with free shipping and handling. You will need to make sure your photo is high resolution so that it can be sized 18X24.
Good Luck!

Why I am not against using teachers in homeschooling
I ran into my daughters art teacher today and she told me my daughter was fabulous. Well, I know my daughter is fabulous so I agreed. She clarified by telling me how impressed she was with my daughters level of artwork in this her first real drawing class. I had seen her working previously, and had noticed that her perspective was excellent. It took another person, an expert in art to tell me just how good her work was.
You'd think that as an artist who has been drawing since the age of six that I would know that the kid has killer arts skills, but she would not draw flowers and candle sticks for me... The only think I've seen her draw ever is anime stuff.
So for that reason I am glad to get input from other adults who can bring things out of her that I have not been able to or have not thought to.
