I know I already used "Arts" in my A to Z blog, but I just got home from a chorus event. It was the final chorus of the year. After this is a piano and solo voice recital, and then graduation for the seniors. 16 of my kids friends are graduating this year, and a few other kids are going in different
directions, so next year will be a year of new beginnings for alot of kids.
The chorus recitial was rivoting, it was dynamic, it was emotional, and it was excellent in every way.
Chile', those kids can sang!
I think it is so amazing, as a homeschooling parent, to see my kids excel at something that I not only cannot do, but I can't even rap my brains around it. If you are homeschooling, try to get your kids in a local choir or other music performance. It is excellent training in many ways, and they make a lot of great friends too.
