Homeschool Blogging A-Z: L is for Labs

Ok, it is time to admit to a big honking homeschool challenge:  Science Labs

Most colleges require that homeschoolers have at least 2 lab based science classes in high school such as biology and chemistry.  The problem is that lab equipment is very,
very expensive.  On top of that, kids don't want to cut open frogs and stuff at home.

The best solution I have found are lab classes at the local science museum, but I constantly have time conflicts.  Besides that, there are online virtual labs online, but it just doesn't seem the same.

Have you solved the science lab conflict in your homeschool?  I would love to hear about it.
