I know I already used "Arts" in my A to Z blog, but I just got home from a chorus event. It was the final chorus of the year. After this is a piano and solo voice recital, and then graduation for the seniors. 16 of my kids friends are graduating this year, and a few other kids are going in different
Homeschooling A-Z: B is for Blogging
I don't know that I would have continued homeschooling for as long as I have if it had not been for blogging. Blogging has allowed me to share what I am doing with other homeschoolers, vent, and seek help. It has helped me to know I am not alone. It has given me a great deal of information and support that has sustained us over the years.

Homeschool blogging A to Z Intro: Arts
I decided to join the April Blogging from A to Z challenge (very late in the game) as a way to rejuvenate my blogging dedication. Summer Plans for my Homeschoolers
This time of the year, I am usually focused on planning for next school year. This time, I am busy planning for summer. Unlike previous years, we are not homeschooling through the summer (for the most part), but I am sending the kids forth to participate in summer programs.
My daughter will spend a week at Wesleyan College in Macon for their Fine Arts Intensive Program.
She will then spend 2 weeks on a play at a theater in Atlanta (Fabrefaction), and spend another 2 weeks doing costuming for another play.
My son will spend 1 week at SCAD summer seminars (God willing) and then hopefully do an internship with the rest of his time.
I have ideas for back up plans in case my son's first choice of activities does not pan out. We need to wait for acceptance letters.
